As a prospective service engineer at GMS, you will have the opportunity to work with our partner OEMs on-site on hot industry skills related to most advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Your contributions will play a crucial role in fostering robust connections with clients and partners worldwide.

What you'll be doing:
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure project success. Regularly report on progress, challenges, and achievements.
Keep projects on track by managing schedules, budgets, and scope. Your organisational skills will be key to driving results.
Develop and distribute project documentation, including charters, schedules, and budgets, to keep all team members aligned.
Lead and motivate your team through the project execution process, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Assist in crafting proposals, RFPs, and estimates, contributing to the growth and success of the organisation.
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project success and drive continuous improvement.
Develop and implement project controls and risk management procedures to mitigate challenges proactively.
Provide hands-on support and technical assistance, ensuring the optimal functioning of our products and equipment while maximising uptime.
Schedule and train field service representatives, manage service contracts, and direct support services for our clients.
What we need to see:
Proven experience in field services with a strong technical background.
Engineering degree in Mechanical or Electronics, with 2-10+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment/tools (e.g., Wire Bonding, Die Bonding).
Familiarity with health and safety regulations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, coupled with excellent interpersonal abilities.
Good communication and management skills, with a knack for building lasting relationships.
A solid technical understanding of semiconductor processes and equipment.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Prior experience in semiconductor automation equipment
Skilled to service in component level
Exposure to semiconductor packaging
