To find out more about us, visit our website: Job Title: Production Support Engineer (Lead/Senior) Location: Pune (Monday to Friday on-site daily) Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated Application Production Support Engineer (Lead or Senior role) with min of 7+ years of experience in supporting Java-based applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of our applications in production environments. This role requires strong technical skills in Java, troubleshooting abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Key Responsibilities: L3 Production Support hands-on experience Monitor, investigate, and resolve incidents and service requests related to Java-based applications in production. Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for production issues and implement permanent fixes and workarounds. Ensure timely and effective communication with stakeholders during incident resolution. Provide on-call support as part of a rotation schedule and participate in incident management and resolution. Application Maintenance: Collaborate with development teams to implement bug fixes and enhancements in production environments. Monitor application performance and implement optimizations to improve reliability and efficiency. Technical Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of production incidents, procedures, and system configurations. Create knowledge base articles and documentation to facilitate incident resolution and knowledge sharing. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and infrastructure teams. Communicate technical issues and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Participate in meetings, stand-ups, and post-incident reviews to share insights and contribute to continuous improvement. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7+ year’s of experience in application production support, preferably with Java-based applications. Strong understanding of Java programming language and familiarity with Java frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate). Experience with troubleshooting and debugging complex application issues in production environments. Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle). Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana) and alerting systems. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
