About the Role – General Manager Human Resources
Responsibilities -
Build an Engaged Workforce: By Launching Major Employee Engagement initiatives, educatory programs, drive employee participation, CSR initiatives.
Design and drive reward & recognition, incentive programmes to motivate employees.
Build employee caring, great place to work fostering right performance culture.
Learning & Development: Drive Learning & Development initiatives by identifying current and future skills requirements and creating Learning & Development programs to meet the diverse needs of the workforce, business, and organization.
Talent Acquisition and Employee Retention: Lead recruitment, conduct recruitment vendor management at regular intervals, create ways to increase talent attractiveness, maintain employee retention.
Performance Management: Accountable for managing annual salary review process & performance bonus pay-outs of all entities in the region accurately and as per timelines set by HQ.
HR Operations: Oversee Payroll, Statutory compliances, and Full and Final clearances. Conduct Exit Interviews. Oversee personnel files management and ensuring that the files are complete with necessary personal and official documents.
Ensuring that all new employees are trained on Company Policies and mandatory Cotecna trainings like BECC, PPRSH, IT and Safety Policy within 7 days from their date of joining. To efficiently manage all HR processes within timelines (SLA/TAT).
Stakeholders’ management: To coordinate with all the concerned business and functional leader as HRBP and provide them all the support needed to manage employee development, motivation and retention as needed from time to time.
HR Audit and Compliance: Will be accountable for ensuring compliance on HR policies and processes. Will also have the responsibility of being the Compliance officer for the region. This position must have uncompromising level of integrity.
Vendor Management and third-party salary billing: Managing manpower supply vendors and ensuring that salaries and statutory compliances are paid as per applicable labour laws. Overseeing third party salary bill approvals and ensuring that bills are approved only after all supporting documents are submitted by the vendor.
Administrative tasks: To manage and supervise Admin department and ensure that all office agreements, licenses, etc are maintained and renewed in a timely manner. Maintaining all insurance coverages and renewing them as per timelines in interest of employee benefits and welfare. Coordinating with IR & Admin and Legal Counsel as and when required on various topics such as vetting of agreements/documents, disciplinary actions, labour union issues, and other legal issues and when needed.
PERFORMANCE INDICATORS
100% accuracy and adherence to TAT w.r.t annual salary review & performance bonus pay outs
process AND monthly payroll & statutory compliances.
100% compliance to HR processes and audit observations/recommendations.
Launch 3 major employee engagement initiatives.
Open positions to be closed within TAT of 60 days.
90% retention of new hires (0 to 6 months).
Ensure 100% new employees covered in HR Induction within 7 days from joining date
Drive 3 Learning & Development workshops in a year.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE
Education Qualification: MBA (HR) through full-time course.
Minimum experience of 10 years in managing Human Resources at PAN India level.
Excellent knowledge of payroll and compensation and proven experience of managing payroll for 1000-workforce.
Good knowledge and understanding of statutory compliances.
Experience of drafting employment related documents.
