Job Title: Assistant Manager – LegalExperience: 9 - 12 yearsLocation: TrivandrumWe are looking for legal professional with IT industry experience, skilled in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating technology-related contracts various technology and commercial contracts. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in software licensing (SaaS model) and a deep understanding of legal and business nuances in technology transactions.Key Responsibilities:- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, including: SaaS Licensing Agreements, MSAs, Vendor/Procurement Agreements, Consulting Agreements, NDAs, and Partnership Agreements.- Advise stakeholders on contractual obligations, rights, and risk mitigation.- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, internal policies, and business requirements.- Handle legal aspects of software licensing and intellectual property matters.- Manage disputes related to IP rights and technology use.- Review and negotiate contracts with international clients, ensuring global compliance.- Maintain standard contract templates and support procurement and business teams.- Collaborate with senior management to mitigate legal risks and support strategic initiatives.Required Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor’s in Law (LL.B.); LL.M. preferred.- 7–12 years of experience in IT industry legal roles, with software licensing expertise.- Strong knowledge of intellectual property, technology regulations, and data privacy.- Experience with international contracts.- Excellent drafting, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to work independently under tight deadlines.Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in corporate legal departments or reputed law firms supporting technology clients.- Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools.- Exposure to multi-jurisdictional legal matters.
