At CodeChef, we are building a platform for practical CS education. CodeChef has evolved from a Platform with only Competitive programming capabilities to a platform where a user can do his entire 4 year CS Education on CodeChef. Colleges also collaborate with CodeChef to integrate our learning and assessment environment into their Academic Labs.
We have recently enabled Project building on CodeChef - our users can now build Full-stack projects using REACT, Node.JS, Machine Learning and Data science projects on CodeChef.
We are looking for folks to join our Learner Experience and Curriculum development team.

Responsibilities
Content Development
Develop practical / learning oriented projects and assessments on Software development / Data Science and Machine learning using relevant technologies and frameworks. Understand the industry requirements and develop courses to help students and working professionals meet their learning objectives. Check out some of the courses here - with senior faculty, SMEs / Freelancers, and global industry leaders to create high quality practical learning content
Learner engagement
Work closely with the Product team to increase ‘retention of knowledge’ for the learners and engagement of learners on CodeChef Learn. At CodeChef - we do not have teacher led training - our users learn by doing - you will need to maximise knowledge retention given a self-learning model.
Skills required
Must have
1 - 3 years of Teaching experience. If you have been a CS Professor or had your own Youtube channel - you would be ideal for this role
Willingness and drive to help users learn. The aptitude to teach / mentor should be high. Prior experience in teaching, learning content creation or mentorship is required.
Great communication in English.
Good to have / Not mandatory
1 - 2 years Software development or Testing work experience with hands-on working experience on either of the tech stack - React, DevOps, Node etc.
Other details
Immediate joining at Bangalore. 1st and 3rd Saturdays are working days at CodeChef.
Note: this is not a Development / Tech team role - however, there is a significant amount of Software development and testing expected in this role
