Job Title: System Administrator


Location: Thane (Work from Office)


Who are we looking for:

  • A technology enthusiast with prior experience in system administration or IT support.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) will be an added advantage.
  • Experience in working in fast-paced environments, preferably in startups or tech companies.


Top 3 Daily Tasks:

  • Monitor and manage server performance, ensuring system availability and reliability.
  • Provide technical support to users, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues promptly.
  • Maintain system documentation and configurations, updating records regularly for compliance and operational continuity.


Minimum work experience & Qualification required:

Total 3-5 years of work experience in system administration or IT support roles.


Top 5 Skills you should possess:

  • Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux) and virtualization technologies (KVM, VMware).
  • Strong networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and end-users.


What would you be expected to do:

  • As a System Administrator, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining operating systems and software applications.
  • Server Management: Installing, configuring, updating, and monitoring servers such as Apache, Nginx, DNS, DHCP, VPN, FTP, etc.
  • Networking: Expertise in TCP/IP, switching/routing, subnetting, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPN, load balancing, and proxy.
  • Scripting: Writing scripts in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Perl, etc. to automate tasks and boost efficiency.
  • Monitoring: Using tools like Nagios, Grafana, ELK stack to monitor performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Virtualization: Expertise in VMware, KVM, Docker to deploy and manage virtual machines and containers.
  • OS Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, and macOS internals for system administration.
  • Backup & Recovery: Implementing backups, snapshots, replication, and restores to ensure business continuity.
  • Monitor network performance and security, addressing any issues that arise to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to develop and enforce IT policies and procedures.
  • Engage with users to understand their needs and provide effective technical support.
  • Stay updated on the latest technology trends and recommend improvements to enhance system performance.
