SENIOR SALES MANAGER – Solar EPC Sales Location: Gurugram Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Responsibilities Identify and generate leads in industrial and commercial sectors for rooftop and ground-mounted solar projects. Understand client energy consumption patterns and propose suitable solar CAPEX / OPEX models . Present detailed proposals including ROI, savings, payback period, and technical feasibility . Develop strong relationships with plant heads, facility managers, purchase heads, and CXOs . Negotiate contracts, close deals, and achieve monthly/annual sales targets. Coordinate with the technical/design team for site surveys, proposals, and project execution. Track market trends, competitor activities, and government policies related to solar net metering and subsidies . Maintain records of leads, opportunities, sales pipeline, and ensure timely invoicing and collections. Provide after-sales support, ensuring smooth customer experience and repeat business. Represent the company at exhibitions, trade shows, and industry forums to expand business reach. Behavioral Strengths Excellent communication and negotiation skills with decision-makers. Strong presentation and persuasion skills to explain solar ROI and project benefits. Confidence in handling CXO-level discussions and long sales cycles. Ability to solve client concerns related to technical, financial, or regulatory aspects. Proactive, self-driven, and result-oriented approach. Experience Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales , preferably in the Solar industry (Solar EPC, Inverters, Batteries, Power Sector) . Must have strong connections in industrial and commercial sectors . Key Skills Lead generation & business development in industries and commercial units. Strong knowledge of solar EPC, inverters, batteries, and electrical systems . Expertise in CAPEX, OPEX/Lease, and Open Access models . Familiarity with net metering, DISCOM approvals, and government solar policies . Ability to calculate and present ROI, payback, and savings analysis . Relationship management with plant heads, purchase managers, CFOs, and business owners . Comfortable using CRM tools, MS Excel, and proposal preparation .
