We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trade Operations Specialist/Team Lead to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and executing trade operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with industry regulations. This position offers a great opportunity for professional growth within a leading commodity trading organization.

Manage and execute end-to-end trade operations, adhering to established procedures and timelines.

Prepare, review, and process export and import documentation, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.

Manage laytime, demurrage, and detention calculations and claims.

Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.

Supervise, mentor, and train team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.

Manage and oversee the full trading operations.

Any bachelors/ master's degree

Minimum 2 years of experience in trade operations or a similar role within the commodity trading industry.

Experience with commodity trading, laytime, demurrage, and detention.

Proficiency in trade-related software and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.

Proven experience in people management and team leadership.

Good knowledge of financial markets, instruments, and trading processes.

Experience in handling commodity, edible oils, grains.

Experience with trading systems and platforms.

Bonus Points:

Experience with any specific trade execution platforms.

Knowledge of additional languages is relevant to commodity trading.
