Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Draughtsman with experience in the pharmaceutical industry to join our projects team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings, layouts, and schematics for pharmaceutical facilities, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Drawings and Documentation:
Prepare accurate 2 D and 3 D drawings, including architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical layouts for pharma projects.
Develop P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams), HVAC designs, and cleanroom layouts as per project requirements.
Create and maintain detailed project documentation and as-built drawings.
Coordination and Collaboration:
Collaborate with project engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and specifications.
Coordinate with contractors and vendors to incorporate design modifications and ensure accuracy.
Compliance and Standards:
Ensure all drawings adhere to pharmaceutical industry regulations, including c GMP, FDA, and WHO standards.
Update designs to reflect regulatory and safety compliance, particularly for cleanroom and sterile area construction.
Project Support:
Provide technical support during project execution, including site visits for measurement and verification of installations.
Assist in resolving on-site technical issues related to drawings and layouts.
Software Proficiency:
Utilize Auto CAD, Revit, and other design software to create and modify technical drawings.
Stay updated on advancements in CAD tools and techniques.
Qualifications and Experience:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical certification in drafting.
Experience:
Minimum of 5-8 years of experience as a Draughtsman in the pharma industry , specifically in project design and execution.
Experience with cleanroom design, HVAC systems, and utilities in pharmaceutical facilities is highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
Proficiency in Auto CAD, Revit, and other design software.
Familiarity with Time & Motion and DILO studies is a plus.
