FSID's solutions combine advances in engineering design, DFX methods, and robotics.Domain: Large furniture, construction and mobility solutions, roboticsRole DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Product Designer/Design Engineer with a Mechatronics background located in Bengaluru. The role involves daily tasks such as creating and optimizing product designs, coordinating with vendors and customers, and hands-on prototyping and testing. The Product Designer will collaborate with a small cross-functional team to develop and iterate on innovative solutions.QualificationsProduct Design and Mechatronics skillsHands-on ability to conceive and prototype electromechanical components, parts and systemsConduct basic engineering analysis of mechanical systems. Proficiency in CAD tools and design softwareAbility to plan, design and integrate electromechanical systems in products at different scalesAbility to assemble and build mechatronic systemsComfortable working with various types of sensors, processors, and actuatorsWork independently in a start-up environmentAbility to work with team members in an agile work environment with varying roles and responsibilitiesEngage with vendors, customers and third-partyExcellent communication and teamwork abilitiesBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Design, or related fieldExperience in product development processes is a plusAbility to travel locally and run around is desirableYears of experience: 1-3Salary: Negotiable
