Product Designer/ Design Engineering with Mechatronics Background

Domain: Large furniture, construction and mobility solutions, robotics Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Product Designer/Design Engineer with a Mechatronics background located in Bengaluru. The role involves daily tasks such as creating and optimizing product designs, coordinating with vendors and customers, and hands-on prototyping and testing. The Product Designer will collaborate with a small cross-functional team to develop and iterate on innovative solutions. Qualifications Product Design and Mechatronics skills Hands-on ability to conceive and prototype electromechanical components, parts and systems Conduct basic engineering analysis of mechanical systems. Proficiency in CAD tools and design software Ability to plan, design and integrate electromechanical systems in products at different scales Ability to assemble and build mechatronic systems Comfortable working with various types of sensors, processors, and actuators Work independently in a start-up environment Ability to work with team members in an agile work environment with varying roles and responsibilities Engage with vendors, customers and third-party Excellent communication and teamwork abilities Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Design, or related field Experience in product development processes is a plus Ability to travel locally and run around is desirable Years of experience: 1-3 Salary: Negotiable
