Senior Mechatronics Systems Engineer

Location: Onsite – Bengaluru

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Mechatronics Systems Engineer to design and integrate world-class electromechanical systems combining mechanical, electrical, and embedded software. The ideal candidate is a mission-driven innovator with a proven record of taking complex R&D concepts into successful products, preferably in EV, robotics, or other deep-tech domains.

Key Responsibilities


• Own the system architecture & integration of mechatronic systems


• Select and validate sensors, actuators, motors, and controllers


• Develop and optimize embedded firmware (C/C++ with RTOS)


• Implement advanced control algorithms (PID, state machines, safety logic)


• Ensure reliable subsystem communication (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, MODBUS)


• Drive system-level testing, validation, and troubleshooting through EVT/DVT/PVT


• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver integrated solutions


• Mentor engineers and contribute to building a world-class R&D culture

Requirements


• Education: PhD preferred (Mechatronics/Electrical/Robotics), M.Tech minimum


• Experience: 10+ years in mechatronics, robotics, or EV-based product companies/startups


• Strong background in embedded systems, controls, and product lifecycle ownership


• Proven track record of taking deep-tech innovations to successful market-ready products


• Exposure to MATLAB/Simulink, ROS/ROS2, or hardware-in-loop testing is a plus
