About the role


As a Manager – MIS, you’ll lead financial reporting, streamline systems and processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards and drive accuracy in MIS reports. Your expertise will support informed decision-making and strengthen financial accountability across projects.


Key responsibilities


MIS and accounting:

Prepare periodical MIS reports and financial statements (IND-AS / I-GAAP) with detailed accounting policies and notes

Consolidate project-level accounts to generate consolidated MIS statements

Conduct trial balance and ledger scrutiny, including adjustment accounting entries

Monitor and review system-generated reports for accuracy and completeness

Analyse revenue and expenditure trends to recommend budgets and control expenses

Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits

Assist in developing accounting procedures, norms and systems at project sites to ensure seamless consolidation

Oversee fixed assets accounting and implement common accounting systems aligned with Indian Accounting Standards and the Companies Act


Financial reporting:

Coordinate and prepare rolling forecasts and variance analysis

Support short-range and long-range planning exercises

Ensure compliance with Internal Controls on Financial Reporting (ICFOR)

Approve and report related party transactions

Conduct detailed analysis of MIS and financial statements

Prepare the annual report and file annual returns with MCA

Ensure adherence to regulations, including the listing agreement, SEBI LODR, MCA and Companies Act


Systems and processes:

Maintain and configure system controls for smooth operations

Oversee system closure activities and maintain a standard chart of accounts

Drive process implementation and automation in coordination with IT and other functions

Ensure a robust audit and financial closure process


Who are we looking for?



Education:

Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)


Experience:

Minimum 4+ years of experience in accounts and finance functions


Skills:

Proficiency in SAP

Strong understanding of IND AS, Accounting Standards and the Companies Act

Awareness of the latest regulations for accounting and compliance
