The position requires a highly seasoned Senior Business Intelligence Consultant with strong expertise across semantic data modelling, data integration, management, delivery, and user-centered information consumption. The ideal candidate will have led multiple enterprise-scale initiatives across the full software development lifecycle, with a primary focus on modern BI architecture & semantic layer design, platform evolution, and analytics enablement. This individual will play a critical role in designing and scaling solutions that support strategic decision-making across the organization.Required Skills –Balanced mix of technical and business skillsStrong abilities in problem identification and solvingStrategic direction – both conforming to and helping to defineProficient with BI technologies (Power BI, Thought Spot, Tableau, etc.)Proficient with Dimensional modelling (Star Schema, Snowflake Schema etc.)Fully capable of designing and verifying semantic models, analytics frameworks, and OLAP strategiesDatabase design for large-scale analytical workloads with performance tuning and optimizationProficient with SQL, report forms, consumption devices, usage analytics, and access modelsAbility to evaluate architectural design options and provide actionable recommendationsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to instill and reinforce a strong customer service and business-oriented ethic in the entire teamAbility to balance between data governance, technical feasibility, and business agilityStrong management and leadership skills with a proactive participative management styleAbility to work well and productively, always projecting a positive outlook in a fast-paced environmentGood to have –Enterprise Data Management experience (data catalogues, metadata, lineage)Requirements planning, formulation, and documentationSubject Matter Expertise in enterprise portfolio and project data, R&D analytics, or strategic planning systemsResponsibilities:Design and evolve BI Semantic model and BI solution that supports dynamic decision-making across functional leadershipWork with solution and enterprise architects to define scope, architectural boundaries, and integration pointsServe as liaison to business and analytics communities to ensure solution designs reflect true stakeholder needsReview prototypes, solution blueprints, and project milestones to validate business alignmentRaise awareness of architectural vision and collaborate with change management to support adoption strategiesCollaborate with end users to identify needs and opportunities for improved analytics consumption and data storytellingWork closely with engineering and QA teams to ensure architectural integrity through implementationImprove and streamline data flow, quality, and governance processes to maximize analytic value and trustStay current with BI and data architecture trends; educate leadership on innovations and assess organizational fit
