BI Engnieer

Job Description We are looking for a talented BI Engineer to design, develop, and enhance analytics solutions and interactive dashboards using Tableau. The candidate needs to have hands-on experience in building scalable BI solutions, strong SQL skills, and   good   understanding of data warehousing concepts. This role will focus on creating insightful visualizations,   optimizing   semantic layers, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organization.   Key Responsibilities: 1. Design, develop, and   maintain   high-quality Tableau dashboards, workbooks, and reports that deliver actionable business insights.   2. Build and   optimize   data models, semantic layers, and data extracts to support scalable BI workflows.   3. Work closely with Snowflake/ETL teams to ensure dashboards consume clean, reliable, and well-structured data.   4. Write clean, efficient, and reusable SQL queries with JOINS, Views to prepare datasets for reporting and analytics use cases.   5.   Participate   in all phases of the BI development lifecycle, including requirement gathering, design, prototyping, testing, deployment, and user adoption.   6. Troubleshoot and resolve dashboard performance issues, data inconsistencies, or visualization challenges.   7. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into intuitive dashboards and data visualizations.       Required Skills and Qualifications:   1. Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a BI Engineer, Data Analyst, or Reporting Developer with hands-on Tableau   expertise.   2.   Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Systems, Analytics, or   a related   field.   3. Strong   proficiency   in SQL with experience preparing datasets for analytics and reporting.   4. Hands-on experience with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, or Tableau Cloud, including dashboard design best practices.   5. Understanding of KPI design, data storytelling, and UX/UI principles for BI dashboards   6. Good understanding of data warehousing concepts, Snowflake schema modeling, and working with data platforms such as Snowflake.   7. Experience collaborating in agile environments, especially sprint-based development.       Additional Skills and Qualifications: 1. Experience working with cloud platforms such as   AWS/ Azure.   2. Knowledge of Python or   PySpark   to support advanced analytics use cases.
