Epergne Solutions is looking for Treasury Data Engineer Pay roll: Epergne Solutions Years of Experience - 7+ Years Location : Chennai/Bengaluru Skills: Treasury, Trade Finance, BFSI, Power BI, DAX, SQL , Jira, Python, Data Analysis Job Summary Profile 1: The data engineer role, is a key role in the data squad under the Treasury Data &Analytics . The Strategic pillars of Treasury Data & Analytic s team are A common finance data model for GCFO that serves Treasury purposes, where control can be applied centrally. An optimized finance data architecture with STP, creating capacity for future initiatives such as self-service portal of business products for analytics. Embedding the data governance model that addresses policies, procedures and business data ownership Monitor and manage data quality via DQMS and the Issue Management Resolution process (IMR). Self-service data modelling capabilities augmented by AI functionalities Standardized and rationalised set of Analytics made available on Treasury Landing Page with Persona driven UI/UX. The data workstream data engineer is required to support following activities Collaborate with users and change teams to understand and define the data attributes required for the consuming system Confirm golden source and availability of the required data attributes (CDEs), including frequency, granularity and other dimensions Provide necessary timelines as to when upstream can provide necessary data Review non-functional requirements where it pertains to data retention, archival etc Review and challenge taxonomy requirements with regards to hierarchies Data governance and ownership, DQMS (linking to BCBS239) and control framework to be leveraged and implemented Provide optimal solution using Python and with good hands-on prior experience Able to model data and recommend technology with the better end state solution Hands on experience in developing dashboards, MI for Treasury functions Ensure Data SLAs (contract between data provided and consumer) and OLAs (agreed timing) in place Identify handshake with operating model workstream where any of the above impacts as-in or target state operating model and / or processes Collaborate and partner with Global Process Leaders as part of the Build & Maintain model Deliver the infrastructure and capabilities to enable target operating model and control framework Optimizing current business model and enabling business benefit materialization through straight-through processing. Risk Management Be a fearless leader in driving the adoption and associated operational benefits of the strategic technology Proactive in seeking regular assurance that the teams are performing to an acceptable risk and control standard. Act quickly and decisively when any risk and control weakness become apparent and ensure they are addressed within an appropriate timeframe and escalated through the relevant committees. Include all necessary internal, legal and regulatory controls through the development of Global Finance requirements. Balance business performance delivery and cost management constraints with risk and control matters to ensure that they do not materially threaten the Group s ability to remain within risk appetite. Qualification Strong track record of data management and / or data operating model execution and delivery in transformation projects 6+ years of overall work experience with 4+ years of relevant data management experience Ability to work proactively, independently when necessary and displays strong initiative. Excellent communication and presentation skills Consistently high performer and excellent role model of the Banks core values. High levels of energy and drive, willingness to work hard. Pragmatic team player with attention to detail Hands on experience in data management and operating model in Tier 1 Bank Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills covering both senior and operational levels SAP products for planning, outlook Strong experience in SQL, Python, or Scala. Proficiency in ETL tools, data pipeline frameworks Hands-on experience with cloud-based data solutions (AWS, BigQuery, Azure, etc.) Familiarity with API integrations, real-time data processing, and automation Experience in data governance, security, and compliance reporting Knowledge of treasury operations, cash management, and investment tracking Strong understanding of financial risk management (FX, interest rate, liquidity risk). Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.
