The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining full-stack web applications while ensuring seamless integration with Shopify platforms.This role requires a solid grasp of PHP backend development and frontend technologies, along with a strong understanding of Shopify’s APIs, Liquid templates, and app development practices.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using PHP (Laravel/CodeIgniter).- Integrate Shopify stores, APIs, and custom apps with PHP-based systems.- Customise Shopify themes using Liquid and extend Shopify functionalities.- Develop responsive UIs using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (Vanilla or frameworks).- Build and consume RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.- Debug, test, and optimise application performance on both backend and frontend.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and QA.Must-Have Skills- Strong experience with PHP and at least one framework (Laravel/CodeIgniter).- Proven expertise with Shopify integration (Admin API, Storefront API, Shopify App setup).- Proficiency in Liquid templating, Shopify theme customisation, and app extensions.- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and responsive design.- Strong knowledge of MySQL and writing optimised queries.- Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.- Ability to troubleshoot Shopify-related issues and optimise integrations.Good to Have- Experience with Shopify Plus or private/public Shopify app development.- Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js or React.- Knowledge of deployment tools, CI/CD pipelines, or Docker.- Experience in e-commerce platforms other than Shopify (e.g., WooCommerce, Magento).
