The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining full-stack web applications while ensuring seamless integration with Shopify platforms.This role requires a solid grasp of PHP backend development and frontend technologies, along with a strong understanding of Shopify’s APIs, Liquid templates, and app development practices.Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using PHP (Laravel/CodeIgniter).Integrate Shopify stores, APIs, and custom apps with PHP-based systems.Customise Shopify themes using Liquid and extend Shopify functionalities.Develop responsive UIs using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (Vanilla or frameworks).Build and consume RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.Debug, test, and optimise application performance on both backend and frontend.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and QA.Must-Have Skills Strong experience with PHP and at least one framework (Laravel/CodeIgniter).Proven expertise with Shopify integration (Admin API, Storefront API, Shopify App setup).Proficiency in Liquid templating , Shopify theme customisation, and app extensions.Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX , and responsive design.Strong knowledge of MySQL and writing optimised queries.Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.Ability to troubleshoot Shopify-related issues and optimise integrations.Good to Have Experience with Shopify Plus or private/public Shopify app development.Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks like Vue.js or React.Knowledge of deployment tools, CI/CD pipelines, or Docker.Experience in e-commerce platforms other than Shopify (e.g., WooCommerce, Magento).
