Job Summary :
The Business Associate will be responsible for marketing research, generating leads, doing pre-sales activities, scheduling appointments for sales team and account follow ups promoting products and services by reaching out to potential customers over the phone. This role requires excellent communication skills, persistence, and a customer-focused attitude to achieve targets and enhance brand awareness.
Location : Bangalore or Chennai (Work from Office / Hybrid)
Experience :
Prior experience in inside sales, marketing or Business development.
Experience in B2B/SaaS environment.
2-5 yrs experience
Key Responsibilities :
Market research:
Research potential clients, industries, and regions to build a targeted pipeline.
Gather insights on client needs, preferences, and challenges to refine engagement strategies.
Identify key decision-makers within target organizations for focused outreach.
Develop tailored talking points and engagement plans based on research findings.
Outbound Calls :
Make cold calls to potential customers to promote products or services.
Contact existing customers to upsell or renew services.
Lead Generation :
Identify potential leads and gather accurate contact information.
Record customer details in the CRM or database.
Customer Engagement :
Explain products and services clearly and persuasively.
Handle customer inquiries and objections professionally.
Conversions :
Meet or exceed daily, weekly, or monthly numbers.
Convert potential leads into customers.
Documentation :
Maintain accurate records of calls, customer feedback, and outcomes.
Update CRM tools and generate reports as needed.
Follow-Ups :
Schedule follow-up calls with interested customers.
Send follow-up emails or messages to build relationships.
Skills and Qualifications :
Education :
Graduate or equivalent; bachelor’s degree is a plus.
Key Skills :
Excellent verbal and written communication along with good interpersonal skills.
Persuasive speaking abilities and active listening.
Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with CRM software.
Goal-oriented and ability to handle rejection.
Personal Attributes :

Positive attitude and patience.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
