AWE Media Group is a dynamic marketing and communications company with three distinct brands: YellAWE, AWEdeet, and AWEbrey. YellAWE is our full-service marketing and advertising ecosystem with in-house production capabilities. AWEdeet specializes in influencer marketing and is developing a proprietary influencer marketing software. AWEbrey, our Dubai wing, offers comprehensive services encompassing both YellAWE and AWEdeet's offerings in the Dubai market.
The Opportunity
We're seeking a talented Associate - Social Media and PR to join our team. This role will be responsible for managing social media presence, PR efforts, and marketing initiatives across all three of our brands: YellAWE, AWEdeet, and AWEbrey.
Key Responsibilities:
Please note that the following responsibilities are indicative. Actual responsibilities may vary based on interview rounds, assignments, and discussions.
- Social Media Management: Develop and execute content strategies for YellAWE, AWEdeet, and AWEbrey across key platforms including Instagram, YouTube, X, LinkedIn, and others. Align social media strategies with company vision and goals.
- PR and Brand Communications: Manage public relations efforts for all three brands. Oversee brand communications on websites and other platforms to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with brand objectives.
- Content Creation and Website Management: Produce engaging content for social media, websites, and other marketing collateral that resonates with each brand's unique audience and market. Manage and update website content regularly to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Marketing Initiatives: Lead and support marketing efforts across all three brands, including campaign development, event organization, and strategic initiatives to drive brand awareness and growth.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor performance of social media, PR campaigns, and websites. Analyze data and prepare reports to inform strategy and demonstrate ROI.
- Industry Trends: Stay informed about the latest trends in social media, PR, marketing, and website design, with a focus on both global and Dubai markets.
- Cross-Brand Coordination: Ensure cohesive messaging and strategy across YellAWE, AWEdeet, and AWEbrey while tailoring approaches to each brand's unique market position and audience.
- Online Reputation Management: Develop and implement proactive ORM strategies to monitor, maintain, and enhance brand reputation across digital platforms for all three brands. This includes addressing potential issues, promoting positive content, and strategically managing online narratives.
- Community Management: Foster engagement and build communities around each brand on various social media platforms. Respond to comments, messages, and reviews in a timely and professional manner.
- Paid Social Media Advertising: Plan and execute paid social media campaigns to amplify reach and achieve marketing objectives for all three brands.
- Content Calendar Management: Create and maintain a comprehensive content calendar for all three brands, ensuring consistent and timely posting across all platforms, including websites.
- Collaboration with Other Departments: Work closely with other teams (e.g., sales, product development, customer service) to align social media, PR, Marcom efforts with overall business goals.
- Localisation Strategy: Develop strategies to tailor content for different markets, with a particular focus on adapting global content for the Dubai market through AWEbrey.
- Website Optimisation: Continuously improve website performance, user experience, and SEO for all three brands. Implement best practices for website management and ensure all digital properties are up-to-date and aligned with brand strategies.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 years in social media management, PR, or digital marketing, preferably with experience managing multiple brands.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent writing and content creation abilities, proficiency in social media platforms and analytics tools, strong strategic thinking and planning skills.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of social media best practices, PR principles, and marketing strategies, with knowledge of both global and Dubai markets.
- Qualities: Creative, proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
