Position : Works ManagerDepartment : ServiceLocation : Nashik / NagpurReports to : General Manager – ServiceRole OverviewThe Works Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the service workshop, ensuring high-quality repairs, timely vehicle delivery, customer satisfaction, and compliance with Maruti Suzuki service standards.Key ResponsibilitiesWorkshop OperationsPlan, organize, and control the overall service operations.Allocate jobs to technicians and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.Ensure availability of required tools, equipment, and infrastructure for smooth operations.Quality & ProductivityEnsure adherence to Maruti Suzuki service quality standards.Monitor and improve workshop productivity and efficiency.Conduct regular quality checks on completed jobs before delivery.Customer SatisfactionHandle escalated customer complaints and provide quick resolutions.Maintain high CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) scores.Ensure transparent communication with customers regarding repairs and costs.Team ManagementLead, train, and motivate service advisors, technicians, and support staff.Conduct regular performance reviews and technical training sessions.Reporting & ComplianceMaintain and share daily, weekly, and monthly service performance reports.Ensure compliance with Maruti Suzuki policies, processes, and statutory regulations.Key Skills & CompetenciesStrong technical knowledge of Maruti Suzuki vehicles and systems.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet deadlines.Knowledge of DMS (Dealer Management System) and MS Office.Qualifications & ExperienceDiploma / Degree in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.Minimum 5–8 years of experience in an automobile dealership service department, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.Prior Maruti Suzuki experience preferred.
