Position: Static Equipment Engineer

Location: Chennai

Years of Experience: 15+ years

Industry: Oil & Gas

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare detailed specifications for static equipment in oil and gas projects
  • Develop mechanical data sheets for design and procurement purposes
  • Perform design calculations to ensure equipment meets project and industry standards
  • Review vendor offers to assess compliance with technical specifications
  • Address technical queries and conduct bid evaluations
  • Review vendor documents for accuracy and adherence to project requirements
  • Create and maintain Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and Civil Load Data

What We’re Looking For:

  • 15+ years of experience in static equipment engineering within the oil and gas industry
  • Proficiency in preparing technical specifications, data sheets, and design calculations
  • Strong skills in vendor evaluation, including offer review and document assessment
  • Experience handling technical queries and performing bid evaluations
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately prepare BoQ and civil load data
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with vendors and project teams
