Job Title : Product Associate – Pricing
Location - Vashi, Navi Mumbai
CarWale is India's largest automotive portal that exists to empower car consumers and deliver hassle-free car research and buying experience. Over the last year, we've served more than 65 million Indian car consumers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analytical & Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Utilize data analysis techniques to make informed pricing decisions.
- Perform detailed quantitative analysis and statistical modeling to support pricing recommendations.
- Leverage advanced Excel or Google Sheets to extract, analyze, and interpret pricing data with accuracy.
- Ownership & Problem-Solving Mindset:
- Take ownership of pricing-related tasks, identify challenges in the pricing process, and propose solutions.
- Independently manage and improve pricing engine processes to optimize pricing strategies.
- Actively seek opportunities to improve workflows and enhance pricing efficiency.
- Stakeholder Management & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate closely with the Product Manager, Data Science, and Business Operations teams.
- Communicate effectively to align pricing strategies with business needs and goals.
- Ensure smooth execution of pricing initiatives through regular updates and transparent communication with stakeholders.
- Industry Knowledge & Business Acumen:
- Leverage a deep understanding of the automotive or consumer goods industry, specifically related to used car pricing.
- Analyze market demand trends, vehicle depreciation, and competitive pricing to adapt strategies accordingly.
- Stay updated on industry developments to propose adjustments to pricing based on evolving market conditions.
