System Design: Develop detailed designs for plumbing and fire fighting systems, including water supply, drainage, vent systems, rainwater harvesting, pump rooms, firefighting systems (sprinklers, standpipes, hydrants, hose reels), and associated equipment. Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, pressure loss analysis, and equipment selection to ensure system efficiency and code compliance. Prepare comprehensive design documentation, including layouts, schematics, technical specifications, and reports in accordance with relevant local and international codes and standards. Assist in the preparation of tender documentation such as bills of quantities, material specifications, and scope of work for plumbing and fire fighting systems. Coordination: Collaborate with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines to integrate plumbing and fire fighting systems seamlessly into overall project designs. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular reviews and quality checks of design deliverables to ensure accuracy, functionality, and compliance with project requirements. Carry out site inspections as necessary to assess existing conditions, verify installation quality, and ensure adherence to approved designs and specifications. Project Management: Manage plumbing and fire fighting design components from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. Coordination Meetings: Participate in interdisciplinary coordination meetings to address technical issues and support smooth project execution. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field Minimum 1-2 years of experience in MEP Design in commercial and residential buildings, including experience in AutoCAD and REVIT software Experience in Project management and MEP coordination Thorough understanding of Indian and international codes and standards Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget
