Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled in BE/B. Tech Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Clancy Global Building Consultancy. A firefighter design engineer designs fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinkler systems, and smoke control systems. They work to ensure that buildings and their occupants are safe.

Key Responsibilities:

Design: Create designs, including layouts, schematics, and calculations

Tender BOQ, make list & technical specification

Develop a detailed design for firefighting systems.

Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications and blueprints.

Ensure compliance with local, national and international codes.

Coordinate with architects, engineers and contractors to integrate systems into overall building design. Good communication and teamwork skills.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as an MEP-Fire Fighting Design Engineer based in Mumbai. The role involves overseeing and designing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, with a specific focus on fire fighting and safety systems. Responsibilities include developing and reviewing design concepts, preparing detailed engineering drawings using CAD software, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver efficient design solutions.

Qualifications

  • Strong expertise in Design Engineering, Product Design, and related fields
  • Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering principles and applications
  • Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software
  • Ability to analyze and implement fire safety standards and codes
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering is required
  • Prior experience in the MEP-Fire Fighting field is a significant advantage
