Agile Business Analyst

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Operations team at Guy Carpenter. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. Specialist – Transactional Services We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with deep subject matter expertise in the Open Twins mainframe system and the GC Flow workflow management application. The ideal candidate will serve as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business needs into actionable solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of both systems, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify opportunities for process automation using Robotic Process Automation (RPA). Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Open Twins and GC Flow applications, providing guidance and support to business and technical teams. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements, ensuring clear understanding of their ideas and objectives. Evaluate business processes and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy through automation, particularly leveraging RPA technologies. Work with RPA developers and IT teams to design, test, and implement automated workflows that integrate Open Twins and GC Flow functionalities. Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate requirements, project status, and solution benefits to stakeholders at all levels. Develop and maintain detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, user stories, and test cases. Support change management activities by assisting in training, user adoption, and post-implementation support. Monitor and analyze system performance and user feedback to recommend continuous improvements. Overall 3+ years of work experience as a Business Analyst or similar role supporting mainframe systems and workflow applications. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with Open Twins and GC Flow applications is essential. Strong understanding of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) concepts and tools. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language. Experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field preferred. Experience in the insurance or reinsurance industry.
