Inviting applications for the role of Manager, Agile Business Analyst with SQL Expertise
In this role, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Agile Business Analyst with strong SQL and database skills to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, product owners, and stakeholders to drive business insights, support agile delivery, and ensure data-driven decisions. This position requires a strong analytical mindset, hands-on experience in SQL queries, and familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
Responsibilities

•    Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, and Stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements in an Agile environment.

•    Serve as a Scrum Master or active team member during sprints, ensuring smooth communication and delivery.

•    Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate large datasets from relational databases.

•    Act as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions, transforming business requirements into functional specifications.

•    Analyze business processes and workflows, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.

•    Create detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, process flow diagrams, and data mapping documents.

•    Support testing, data validation, and user acceptance processes by providing query-based analysis and business logic validation.

•    Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.).

•    Monitor and report key performance indicators and metrics to stakeholders using data-driven insights.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

•    Relevant years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst in an Agile/Scrum environment.

•    Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL queries against large relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle).

•    Experience working on Agile projects and participation in Scrum ceremonies.

•    Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.

•    Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

•    Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.

•    Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.

•    Familiarity with database design and data warehousing concepts.

•    Experience in working with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.

•    Understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
