About the Role

We are seeking a
Business Analyst
with strong analytical and technical skills to support data-driven decision-making across business functions. The ideal candidate should be highly proficient in
Excel, SQL, and Python
, using these tools daily for data cleaning, analysis, automation, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets using
    SQL
    and
    Python
    .
  • Create and maintain
    dashboards, trackers, and reports
    in
    Excel
    to monitor KPIs and business performance.
  • Automate repetitive reporting tasks using
    Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib)
    or Excel macros.
  • Write efficient
    SQL queries
    for data extraction, validation, and aggregation from multiple data sources.
  • Perform trend, variance, and root cause analysis to provide actionable business insights.
  • Support business teams in making data-backed decisions through ad-hoc analyses.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Sales, Operations, Marketing) to identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Present findings and insights using clear data visualization and storytelling techniques.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across all reports and dashboards.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in
    Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics
    , or related fields.
  • 3–4 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst / Data Analyst.
  • Proficiency in
    MS Excel (Advanced), Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib), and SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
    .
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present data insights clearly.
  • Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau is a plus.
  • Understanding of business processes in domains like sales, finance, or operations preferred.
