Roles & Responsibilities Planning and Inventory Controller role is a key resource in the APAC Regional Distribution Center organization (ADC), responsible for the daily material planning and operational purchasing of products in ADC, with the main goal to optimize inventory levels, availability, and logistics costs.

As a critical member of ADC operation team, you will have the opportunity to oversee, develop and improve the process and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities Inventory planning and management Work closely with Strategic Planner to execute inventory planning policies, and review and update planning parameters to keep optimum inventory level Work closely with country planner to align on forecast, lead time, customer orders, new material, etc Liaise with suppliers on demand forecast Work actively together with suppliers to improve lead times and availability whilst reducing inventory levels and working capital Continually monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate supply for customers while minimizing excess or expired inventory Maintain and review KPI of assigned area and drive continuous improvement Purchase order management Manage purchase order daily operations Generate purchase orders to factories/ EDC/ NADC and monitor order status to ensure goods receipt on time Communicate scheduled delivery date and related changes to stakeholders in a timely manner Coordinate wtih supplier and forwarder for inbound shipment booking, tracking and customs clearance to ensure on time arrival Work with forwarder to resolve cargo damage and insurance claim Work with QRC to ensure registration license is available for the product import to SG Work closely with 3 PL Warehouse Ops team to ensure stock to be received properly Handle received stock discrepancies and resolve order related and nonconforming product issues Handle return shipment to vendor Inventory management Point of contact for inventory enquiries Ship hold, block, and stock movement control Coordinate with 3 PL to arrange physical inventory count, discrepancy investigation and reconcilation Coordinate with 3 PL for scrapping Handle damages within warehouse with 3 PL Other Actively contribute to the documentation and maintenance of work instructions and procedures and participate and/or lead in relevant projects Assist with on boarding of new hires and training Requirements Minimum 3-5 years of Supply Chain Planning and purchase order management experience Good knowledge of supply chain management such as forecast and planning, inventory management, air and ocean freight, import and export trade compliance, etc Experienced user of material requirements planning and ERP systems.

SAP is preferred.

Organized, Structured, Analytical and Data-driven mindset Proficient in MS office suite (MS Words, Excel and Power Point) Strong verbal and written skills in English Diploma/ degree in Logistics or business related fields A team player with ability to work effectively and support each other in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment Able to prioritize and multitask
