Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Hiring Heads.

About the Role:

The Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for managing laboratory consumables inventory, including PR requisitions, material issue, and moving/non-moving analysis. This role also involves logistic management, handling export and domestic shipments, and communicating with stakeholders and freight forwarders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of laboratory consumables inventory, including PR requisitions and material issue
  • Moving/non-moving analysis of inventory
  • Logistic management, including handling export and domestic shipments
  • Proper communication with stakeholders and freight forwarders
  • Tracking shipments and updating end users
  • Maintaining data for all domestic and export shipments
  • Preparation of e-way bills and job work challans
  • Gate pass management for material transfer within and outside the company on RGP/NRGP basis
  • Chemical samples dispatch, including sample invoices, tracking, and coordination with courier agencies
  • Goods receipts
  • Chemical receipt and management of inventory through electronic lab notebooks
  • Commercial-grade chemical sourcing from indigenous and international vendors

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field, such as supply chain management or logistics
  • Experience in inventory management, preferably in a laboratory setting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
