About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled SDE-3 (Node.js) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technologist who thrives in building scalable, high-performance backend systems and enjoys working in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Node.js. Build RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support web and mobile applications. Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint planning. Troubleshoot production issues and implement robust monitoring and alerting. Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous technical improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5–10 years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years in Node.js . Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript , Express.js , and NestJS (preferred). Solid understanding of asynchronous programming , event-driven design , and microservices architecture . Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB or other databases. Knowledge of Redis , message queues (Kafka / RabbitMQ) , and caching strategies . Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure) . Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design . Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills. Good to Have Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows. Exposure to frontend frameworks (React / Angular / Vue). Knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization (OAuth2, JWT) . Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams.
