About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled SDE-3 (Node.js) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technologist who thrives in building scalable, high-performance backend systems and enjoys working in a fast-paced, product-driven environment.Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Node.js.- Build RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support web and mobile applications.- Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software.- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.- Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint planning.- Troubleshoot production issues and implement robust monitoring and alerting.- Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous technical improvement.Required Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.- 5–10 years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years in Node.js.- Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, Express.js, and NestJS (preferred).- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven design, and microservices architecture.- Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB or other databases.- Knowledge of Redis, message queues (Kafka / RabbitMQ), and caching strategies.- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design.- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.Good to Have- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.- Exposure to frontend frameworks (React / Angular / Vue).- Knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization (OAuth2, JWT).- Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams.
