About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled SDE-3 (Node.js) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technologist who thrives in building scalable, high-performance backend systems and enjoys working in a fast-paced, product-driven environment. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Node.js. - Build RESTful and GraphQL APIs to support web and mobile applications. - Work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality software. - Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability. - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices. - Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint planning. - Troubleshoot production issues and implement robust monitoring and alerting. - Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous technical improvement. Required Skills & Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - 5–10 years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years in Node.js. - Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript, Express.js, and NestJS (preferred). - Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, event-driven design, and microservices architecture. - Experience with MySQL / PostgreSQL / MongoDB or other databases. - Knowledge of Redis, message queues (Kafka / RabbitMQ), and caching strategies. - Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure). - Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and system design. - Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills. Good to Have - Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows. - Exposure to frontend frameworks (React / Angular / Vue). - Knowledge of API security, authentication, and authorization (OAuth2, JWT). - Experience working in Agile / Scrum teams.
