Product Owner

vConstruct , a Pune based Construction Technology company seeks a Product Owner who will own the development cycle of the product/suite of products. The successful candidate will be part of a cross-functional team that will be responsible for the full software development lifecycle – from Product discovery until Launch.Responsibilities:Discovery, Analysis and Documentation:Work with Business stakeholders and Product Manager to capture and analyze the requirementsWork with Product Manager to define product vision, roadmapUnderstand the application data and data flows and connect the dots between data flow and the application behavior.Translating the Business Requirements into Functional Requirements (PRD)Create User flows/journey, create low-fidelity mockupsWork with UI-UX developer to create high fidelity mockupsWork with Tech lead to create Project Plan (Schedule)Breakdown PRD into Detailed User Stories with acceptance criteriaLead Sprint Ceremonies: Sprint Planning & Grooming, Standups, Retrospectives, DemosProvide requirement clarity to dev teamReview Test Plan and help QA team in testingEnsure no critical business facing issuesContinuously assess progress, identify blockers, and proactively manage risks.Communicate delivery timelines, release notes and biweekly updatesMaintain and prioritize the product backlogAnalyze product performance and customer feedback to inform future development.Build domain expertise for processes/workflows related to ProductCollaboration:Work closely with the Product Manager and Solution Architect to propose the Release Plan.Work closely with the Technical Lead to come up with Sprint Plan.Work closely with the UI/UX Designers and ensure the mocks, PRD, and user stories have covered all the scenarios, assumptions, and exclusions.Work closely with the development team to help them understand the business details, deliverables and remove their roadblocks.Work closely with QA team to ensure there are no business facing bugsAgile and Scrum:Plan and prioritize the user stories based on the Release Plan and Milestone Demos.Conduct Agile Scrum meetings like Sprint Grooming, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Demo and RetrospectivesProject Management:Project scheduling, Resource Planning, Billing activitiesManage and own QA planEnsuring timely deliveriesOwn delivery quality and ensure no business facing issuesCoordinate cross-functional efforts between Development, QA, and business teams to ensure smooth releases.Skills and Qualifications:Overall 5+ years of experience being a Product Owner or Business Analyst.Excellent at written as well as verbal communication.3+ years of experience with agile methodology for project management.Problem Solver and Solution-oriented approach.3+ years of experience with Data-driven analysis.Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders.Knowledge of Graph QL and SQL will be a plus.Education:Bachelor’s or master’s Degree with specialization in Computer Science/Civil/Construction or related fieldAbout vConstruct : vConstruct specializes in providing high-quality Building Information Modeling, Lean Construction, Integrated Project Delivery, and Software Solutions for global construction projects. vConstruct is a wholly owned subsidiary of DPR Construction, USA.
