Ciklum is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team full-time in India.

About the role:
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
Responsibilities
Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant, and secure AWS architectures at scale. Contribute to the overall cloud strategy and roadmap
Build complex CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and configuration management for large-scale applications
Proactively analyze infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies for cost and efficiency
Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex system-wide issues, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventative measures
Design and enforce secure infrastructure patterns, conduct security audits, and drive security initiatives
Mentor team members, foster a culture of continuous learning, and share best practices within the organization
Stay updated on emerging DevOps tools and AWS services, evaluating their potential impact and driving adoption
Technical advice for the testing teams
Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
5+ years of experience in a DevOps engineering role with significant AWS experience
Proven track record of designing and implementing large-scale AWS solutions
Experience leading and mentoring DevOps teams
Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical problems and architect robust solutions.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Relevant AWS certifications are highly preferred (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect Professional, AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS Security Specialty)
Desirable
Cloud: Experience with another cloud (Azure or GCP)
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Advanced skills in CloudFormation, Terraform, or other IaC tools
Programming and Scripting: Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) and proficiency with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Go, Node.js)
Containerization and Microservices: Extensive experience with Docker, Kubernetes (EKS), and microservices architectures
Complex Configuration Management: Expertise in configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc.)
Robust Networking: In-depth knowledge of networking concepts, VPC design, hybrid cloud architectures, and network security
Security Focus: Strong understanding of cloud security principles, penetration testing, and compliance standards (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001, PCI DSS)
Personal skills
Self-motivated to continually learn and adopt the latest industry innovations and technology
Self-disciplined and result-oriented, able to work with minimal supervision
Strong communication and problem solving skills
Good team player, motivated to solve complex tasks
Good analytical skills
Strong attention to details and accuracy.
