Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Payroll, Compensation & Benefits Specialist with a strong background in SAP Success Factors to manage and optimize our payroll processes, compensation plans, and benefits programs. This role will play a key part in ensuring accurate payroll processing, driving compensation strategies, and managing benefit schemes, all while ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in both SAP Success Factors and SAP Payroll systems to streamline HR operations and enhance employee satisfaction.
Reporting: General Manager, Global Payroll
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll Management:
Manage and process payroll for all employees using SAP Payroll and Success Factors ensuring accuracy and compliance with payroll policies and regulations.
Coordinate with the finance department for payroll processing, salary disbursement, and tax compliance.
Handle payroll audits and reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Manage payroll-related issues, inquiries, and discrepancies and ensure resolution in a timely manner.
Maintain and update payroll data in SAP/ Success Factors , ensuring compliance with statutory requirements (Income Tax, PF, ESI, etc.).
Candidate would be responsible for managing Global payroll, predominantly Africa.
Compensation & Benefits:
Utilize Success Factors Compensation module to manage and optimize compensation planning and budgeting.
Design and implement compensation and benefits programs that align with company objectives and attract and retain talent.
Conduct salary compensation structures.
Administer and manage employee benefits programs (health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks).
Liaise with external vendors for benefit administration and ensure that all benefits are delivered to employees efficiently.
HRIS & System Management:
Payroll process knowledge in SAP S4 HANA and having some background of international payroll special West Africa.
Maintain the HR database using SAP S4 HANA & Success Factors and ensure accurate and up-to-date employee information.
Oversee the integration between Success Factors and SAP Payroll , ensuring a seamless flow of data between systems.
Generate and analyze HR and payroll reports using Success Factors to provide insights and trends for leadership decision-making.
Work closely with the IT team and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve any system issues related to SAP and Success Factors.
Compliance & Reporting:
Ensure compliance with all labor laws and tax regulations in payroll and compensation practices.
Prepare and submit mandatory reports related to payroll, compensation, and benefits for government and regulatory bodies.
Conduct regular audits of compensation and benefits processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Stay updated with changes in labor laws and compensation trends and make recommendations for process improvements.
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in payroll, compensation, and benefits administration.
Expertise in SAP S4 HANA and SAP Success Factors (especially Payroll and Compensation modules) is mandatory.
Proficient in SAP Payroll systems and knowledgeable in HRIS systems (preferably with SAP and Success Factors integration).
Strong knowledge of compensation and benefits structures, payroll processing, and statutory compliance.
Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in HR/Payroll.
Experience in global payroll management or experience working in multinational organizations.
Familiarity with compensation frameworks in different industries.
