Job Overview

This position champions health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across all sites. You'll lead the HSEQ function, strengthen our food safety culture, and ensure our operations meet the highest standards.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage internal and external audits
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand expectations and calibrate processes
  • Leverage partnerships to execute company standards and exceed Client Food's expectations
  • Enhance user experience
Reporting Structure:

You will report to the Director of Operations (India) and work as a key member of the country leadership team to ensure you manage all aspects of HSEQ and Governance across all aspects of the Food at Client Program and its values both to users, and to the vendor partners, ensuring alignment with global and regional objectives.

Key Areas:
  • Ensure HSEQ strategy is consistently followed at all sites in India
  • Design and implement a robust structure for risk assessment and compliance with food safety regulations
  • Drive continuous improvement in HSEQ bronze audit scores
  • Oversee and ensure the effective delivery of all HSEQ training across our sites in India
Client Engagement:
  • Gain a deep understanding of client's HSEQ requirements and expectations and implement improvement plans as needed
  • Conduct critical risk assessments during the pre-mobilization phase of new sites
  • Take full accountability for all client issues and escalations related to HSEQ performance
Team Management:
  • Define clear performance standards for your team, aligning them with regional HSEQ delivery metrics
  • Identify and address development needs of direct reports through internal and external training and certifications
  • Cultivate talent pipeline through effective coaching and aspiration management
Process Enhancement:
  • Identify best practices within the industry and implement them within our operations
  • Continuously work towards process improvements that enhance efficiency, safety, and quality

Requirements:

  • Relevant academics and proven leadership: Post Graduate degree in food science & technology with 12+ years of progressive experience
  • Preferred exposure to Food Safety Management implementation
  • Behavioral Skills:

    • Highly energetic with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
