Senior Design Engineer

This role is a high-profile opportunity to lead the design and development of pressure control equipment in the oil and gas industry.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Design Engineer to create detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and BOMs using Inventor or similar CAD tools. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with API 6A product design and certification processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting FEA and other mechanical calculations to validate designs, ensuring compliance with API 6A, ASME, and customer-specific requirements.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Leading the design and development of pressure control equipment per API 6A standards.
  • Creating detailed 3D models, engineering drawings, and BOMs using Inventor or similar CAD tools.
  • Conducting FEA and other mechanical calculations to validate designs.
  • Ensuring compliance with API 6A, ASME, and customer-specific requirements.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (required); a Master's preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering in the oil and gas industry.
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with API 6A product design and certification processes.
