The position of Vice Chancellor is a leadership role that demands strategic thinking, innovation and the ability to build strong teams.

As the Chief Executive & Academic Head of a Medical University, you will oversee various responsibilities including academics, research excellence, operations and global partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a vision for the university aligned with global standards and emerging trends in education and healthcare.
  • Research Excellence: Foster a culture of research by supporting faculty and students in scholarly activities, publishing and securing funding.
  • Institutional Governance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and oversee the functioning of statutory bodies such as the Academic Council and Finance Committee.
  • External Engagement: Represent the university at national and international platforms to build visibility and reputation.
  • Student Success: Champion student welfare, mentoring, career readiness and holistic development.

Qualifications:

  • A distinguished academician with teaching experience in a reputed institution.
  • A medical Doctor or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from a premier institution with experience in academic education, research, curriculum development and administration.
  • Minimum 10+ Years of experience as professor or equivalent positions held in university system or reputed research or academic administrative organizations.
  • Proven expertise in steering institutions toward top rankings and accreditations.
  • An inspirational leader with intellectual breadth, strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated expertise in research-driven programs and policies.
