About Carbon Consulting

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Support to join our team in a dynamic environment of growth and learning.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Business development team for a wide range of services including carbon advisory, renewable energy, sustainability, and NBS projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Research and Analysis: Develop knowledgebase of carbon markets via desk-based research, categorizing reports, documents, policies, and analysis at local and national levels.
  • New Business Opportunities: Research new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, and services.
  • Client Engagement: Seek out contacts in organizations and generate leads through regular follow-ups.
  • Sales Support: Assist seniors in developing sales pitches for prospective clients and participate in presentations of business ideas.
  • Workflow Coordination: Coordinate with other departments for smooth workflow and expedite processes through established practices.
  • Contract Management: Draft client contracts depending on company size and service requirements.
  • Data Tracking: Support reporting manager in tracking leads and providing data for client-specific presentations.

Requirements:

  • A relevant qualification and 1-3 years of experience in renewable energy, carbon consultancy, power sector, WTE, or NBS.
  • Ability to write reports, prepare PowerPoint presentations, and prepare contracts.
  • Effective time management to deliver on client expectations.
  • Proactive and can-do attitude, taking responsibility for assigned tasks.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
  • Good communication and report-writing skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Team player with adaptable working nature and multitasking ability.
