Job Title: Security Engineer II

Are you a skilled security professional looking for a new challenge? We're seeking an experienced Security Engineer II to join our team

The Identity and Access Management (IAM) program is a critical component of our organization's security posture. As a key member of the IAM team, you will play a vital role in analyzing risks, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing solutions to protect our assets.

Responsibilities:
• Perform operational duties within the Identity and Access Management realm.
• Assist compliance and promote security policies by implementing best practices and guidelines.
• Threat surveillance; identify emerging threats and potential solutions to mitigate risks.
• Implement security programs and execute project deliverables as assigned, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with stakeholders.
• Maintain program procedures, including guidelines and flow diagrams, to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.
• Communication and outreach: maintain communication with peers throughout the organization and security contacts, disseminating information regarding security controls and newly identified risks.
• Assess and measure security programs to ensure closed-loop operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Monitoring review security events for anomalous activity to safeguard company information assets against current and foreseen threats.
• Support assignments involving the execution of a series of related tasks in LAN and WAN environments, ensuring effective problem-solving and collaboration.
• Remain current on industry standards for security in a technology environment, staying up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices.

Requirements:
• 3+ years of IT security experience, with a focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Active Directory (AD)
• BS Engineering/Computer Science or equivalent experience required
• Licensing/certification preferred (at least one of the following) CISSP, CISM, SANS, GIAC (or related), ethical hacking/penetration tester certification, and/or security risk assessment certification
• Solid understanding of Identity Management, Active Directory, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)/Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex security issues and develop effective solutions
• Knowledge of security environments, including web-based environments, and ability to implement secure systems and protocols
• Installation/troubleshooting in web-based environments, with ability to resolve complex technical issues
• Understanding of industry standards, including NIST and ISO 27001, and ability to apply these standards in a real-world setting
