Cloud HCM Technical SME Job Description

This role involves providing day-to-day production support, enhancements, quarterly patch release testing, and issue resolution to a global support team of functional leaders, business partners, and technical experts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Production support project experience with understanding of AMS Ticketing process, deployment process, upgrades testing, etc.
  • Interaction with offshore and onshore client engagements involving implementation/support of Oracle HCM Cloud modules.
  • 8+ years of ERP implementation experience with 4+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle HCM functional (any two modules - Global HR, Learning, Recruiting, Talent Management, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, OTL).
  • Cloud Technical expertise with Oracle Cloud Human Capital Management in two or more of the following modules: Core HR, OTL, Recruiting (Fusion), Learning, Benefits, Performance Management, Goals, Talent Management.
  • Resolving production tickets, patch testing, change requests, requirement analysis, and documentation of the respective Oracle environment.
  • Working collaboratively on configurations, bug-fixes, quarterly patch testing, and quality assurance prior to change deployment of the respective Oracle environment.
  • Managing System Admin and Security Environment of the Oracle instance, including super-permissions, patch management, POD management, system configuration, and risk management.
  • Performing unit tests, high-level functionality, staging test scenarios, and documenting test results.
  • Developing runbooks for technical objects and analyzing/resolving technical queries during ticket resolution.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 2 full lifecycle implementations of Oracle HCM as a Technical lead and minimum one production support project experience.
  • Strong end-to-end experience in at least a couple of HCM modules (Core HR, Recruiting (Fusion), Benefits, Performance Management, Payroll, Goals, Absence Management, Succession Planning, HR Helpdesk, Talent Review, Onboarding (Fusion), Learning (Fusion)).
  • Efficient and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage directly with clients on detailed technical discussions.
  • Experience in working with Onshore/NSA/Offshore model.
  • Familiarity with Fast Formula creation and maintenance, HCM Data Loader, Payroll Batch Loader, HCM Spreadsheet Data Loader, Custom Role Development, and Cloud System Administration services.
  • Knowledge of BI Publisher (RTF design/e-text/Scheduling/Parameter Handling/Bursting/backup and migration of reports to different pods).
  • Visual Builder Studio experience with extending application pages and migrating changes between instances.
  • Experience with additional Reporting Tools: HCM Extract/OTBI/Analysis Dashboard.
  • Transformation formula and automating inbound loads into HCM using HDL.
  • Sysadmin activities, code deployment process, and quality assurance.
  • Creating and moving changes via migration sets.
  • Extending Cloud through the personalization layer.
