Job Title

Software Quality Assurance Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in software development and quality processes. The ideal candidate will have hands-on software development experience, significant exposure to CMMI for Development, and expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

The role focuses on driving quality audits, process improvements, risk management, and compliance within a Tier-1 environment.

  • Drive quality audits and assessments, including leading/participating in ISO 9001 & CMMI audits as Assessment Team Member (ATM).
  • Define, implement, and monitor software development quality processes in line with CMMI for Development, Agile, and Waterfall.
  • Evaluate and ensure alignment with ISO 9001 and related frameworks.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate software-related risks throughout the SDLC.
  • Develop and implement process enhancements and corrective actions to adopt best practices across teams.
  • Conduct training sessions on quality practices, RCA, Agile, and risk management.
Key Qualifications

We require candidates with:

  • 6–10 years of experience in the software industry, with a minimum of 6 years in software development.
  • Hands-on software development experience, preferably in product companies or IT services.
  • At least 75% of career in Tier-1 firms, if from IT services.
  • Background: BE/BTech degree started as a software developer with hands-on coding experience.
  • Certifications: CMMI Assessment Team Member; ISO Lead Assessor preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of CMMI for Development, Agile, and awareness of Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
