Job Description

As a Training Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing end-to-end training programs for Beauty Advisors, field sales, and retail partners. Your goal will be to enhance sell-through, service standards, and launch readiness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing curriculum and SOPs for product science, shade matching, regimen building, hygiene, visual merchandising basics, and claims guardrails.
  • Creating multi-format content such as decks, playbooks, 2-minute WhatsApp videos, role-plays, and quizzes in both Hindi and English.
  • Developing examples like the '5x5 pitch' for top SKUs and the 'Shade-match in 60 seconds' script.
  • Conducting train-the-trainer sessions, field coaching, roadshows, and monthly masterclasses.
  • Partnering with NPD/R&D to translate INCI and benefits into accurate demos and ensure compliant claims.
  • Setting up learning management systems (LMS), tracking progress, and reporting impact with dashboards.

Additionally, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing regional trainers, onboard channel trainers, and external academies/vendors.
  • Overseeing the training budget and vendor SLAs.
  • Ensuring that all training is data-driven and aligned with business objectives.

Requirements for this role include:

  • 6-10 years of experience in beauty/personal-care retail training, including leading pan-India TTT programs.
  • A strong grasp of makeup and skincare, with the ability to explain INCI and shade science simply.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Hindi and English, with confidence in facilitating and presenting on-camera.
  • Advanced skills in data analysis, Google Sheets/Excel, and familiarity with LMS platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and training, with a willingness to travel and work flexible hours. Experience in marketing or sales would be an asset.
