Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Automation Engineer to design, develop and maintain automated test suites for our web and mobile applications.

The ideal candidate will have experience in test automation for web applications, strong hands-on experience with Cypress for end-to-end testing, and proficiency in C# and/or TypeScript, with solid object-oriented programming fundamentals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Automated Test Suite Development: Architect, implement and maintain automated tests using Cypress for end-to-end UI testing, as well as develop and extend test frameworks in C# and TypeScript for API, integration, and unit testing.
  • Test Framework Maintenance: Configure and schedule nightly executions of UI tests using GitHub Actions, analyse test results, triage failures, and collaborate with developers to resolve defects.
  • Test Code Optimization: Write clear, maintainable and reusable test code, adhering to best practices and coding standards, and continuously improve test coverage, performance and reliability.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior QA engineers on automation tools and techniques.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ Years Experience in Test Automation: 3+ years of experience in test automation for web applications.
  • Cypress Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Cypress for end-to-end testing.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in C# and/or TypeScript, with solid object-oriented programming fundamentals.
  • Test Framework Development: Experience building and maintaining test frameworks (e.g., NUnit, xUnit, Jest).
  • Azure DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with Azure DevOps: pipelines, repos, artifacts, and test plans.
  • AWS Knowledge: Working knowledge of AWS: provisioning, IAM, and basic troubleshooting.
  • Version Control: Comfortable with Git and modern development workflows (feature branches, pull requests, code reviews).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
