Automation Tester

We are seeking a skilled automation tester to join our team. As an automation tester, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.

  • Develop and maintain in-sprint automated test scripts for UI, API, and integration testing.
  • Align test scripts with acceptance criteria and user stories.
  • Execute automated tests, log defects with detailed reproduction steps, and support defect triage.
  • Create and manage test data and environment configurations for automation.
  • Identify and maintain reusable scripts for system-level and regression testing.
  • Contribute to the automation regression suite and maintain automation assets.
  • Collaborate with developers and senior QA engineers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Follow automation best practices and participate in peer reviews.
  • Prepare and maintain Requirements Traceability Matrix (RTM).
  • Support manual testing efforts when required, including test planning, execution, and reporting.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience in functional and automation testing.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in policy center projects.
  • Hands-on experience with type-script automation tools such as Playwright or JavaScript based frameworks like Cypress/ Selenium.
  • Hands on experience in programming-based Test Automation toolset and should be part of Test Design for minimum of 2 Years.
  • Hands on Experience in working with Git Repository.
  • Independently handle Test Code issue resolution, updates & Debugging.
  • Exposure to QA lifecycle tools such as JIRA, or equivalent.
  • Understanding of defect lifecycle management and test standards.
  • Experience in test effort estimation and metrics reporting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Knowledge on CI / CD.
  • Knowledge of API & API testing tools like Karate, Postman or RestAssured.
