We are seeking a skilled Surface Preparation Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities include preparing surfaces for coating by sand blasting, pressure washing and other approved methods while ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for selecting and applying applicable coating systems using spray equipment, brushes and rollers, while adhering to health and safety protocols.

This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to follow instructions without error.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in surface preparation and coating, with experience working with various coating systems and equipment.

A high level of physical fitness is also required due to the demands of this physically demanding role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform surface preparation or remove old coating by using sand papering, sand blasting, pressure washing and other approved methods while ensuring compliance with the health and safety guidelines in order to make the surface clean.
  • Select and apply the applicable coating system by using spray equipment, brushes and rollers while ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines to meet customer's specification and expectation

  • Follow all relevant sections' or departments' policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Painting and blasting skills acquired from industry.
  • Ability to use coating equipment.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions without mistake.
