Treasury Manager Job Overview

The Treasury Manager will be responsible for handling margin calls, monitoring short-term liquidity of funds, and gaining a strong understanding of the portfolio's financing structure and dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Margin Management: Understanding various margining methodologies of agreements in a portfolio and tracking internal views of margin.
  • Implementation and Onboarding: Handling end-to-end implementation of margin/financing, broker revenue, and counterparty exposure information, as well as onboarding new clients.
  • Stakeholder Management: Managing stakeholders' expectations, identifying their needs, articulating offering scope, escalating issues, and showcasing persuasiveness.
  • Knowledge Enhancement: Learning and enhancing knowledge on the client platform/industry.
  • Data Management: Performing data gathering, GAP analysis, mapping, data transformation, loading, and reconciliation activities in the client platform.
  • Technology Collaboration: Working with technology teams on special projects, developing bespoke reports, and product implementation.
  • Treasury Operations: Overseeing Treasury and Cash Management operations, ensuring optimal liquidity and funding strategies.
  • Collateral Management: Managing Collateral and Liquidity positions to support trading and risk management activities.
  • Securities Lending: Supporting and coordinating Securities Lending transactions to maximize asset utilization.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in Treasury, coupled with in-depth finance knowledge.
  • Domain Knowledge: Collateral management, financing agreements, and margin methodologies.
  • Technical Skills: Strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially MS Excel.
  • Additional Skills: Hands-on experience with VBA macros/Python is a plus.
