Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the finance and accounts function with expertise and vision.

Key Financial Management Aspects:

  • Overall financial management and fiscal planning for the company's Finance operations.
  • Coordinate business planning, cost initiatives, funds, accounting, and budgeting efforts.

Compliance and Governance:

  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Implement comprehensive set of controls and budgets, manage funds, and ensure corporate governance.

Payroll and Reporting:

  • Manage employee payroll and govern governance.
  • Report to local, state, and central government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Accounting Adjustments:

  • Accurate revenue accruals, provision of expenses, quarter, and year-end accounting adjustments.
  • Vendor pay-outs & MIS
  • Ensure MSME compliances.

Notices and Returns:

  • Respond to Notices of Income Tax/ Service Tax/GST
  • Preparation and maintenance of MIS Report as per organizational requirement.
  • Knowledge of Excise / Service Tax and Sales Tax assessments and filling of monthly/Quarterly /Annual Returns.

Capitalization and Fixed Assets:

  • Capitalization and Maintenance of Fixed Asset Register as per Law

Cross-Functional Knowledge:

  • Cross Functional knowledge of various aspects of accounting and finance like Direct/Indirect Taxation

Skills and Certifications:

  • Should have updated knowledge on IND AS, Income Tax, GST, Customs, Banking regulations.
  • Relevant certifications will be an added advantage (CPA/CFA/ICWA)

  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization is essential.
  • Attention to details & multi-tasking.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Independent & able to thrive in as fast pace and dynamic environment.
  • Proficient skills in Microsoft Office - experience of spreadsheets and pivot tables.
