Global Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional with expertise in optimizing global supply chains using SAP APO. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of advanced planning processes and hands-on experience in configuring APO modules to streamline transportation operations.

About the Role
  • Solution Design & Configuration: Design, configure, and implement solutions in SAP APO, focusing on Global Available-to-Promise (GATP) functionalities.
  • Integration & Optimization: Integrate SAP APO with ECC/S4HANA and other third-party systems. Develop and implement optimization strategies for planning processes to enhance system performance.
  • Business Process Improvement: Analyze business requirements, conduct gap analysis, and provide innovative solutions to complex supply chain scenarios. Implement best practices in supply chain planning and execution.
  • Support & Documentation: Provide end-user training and post-implementation support for GATP and TVPS modules. Create comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications, test cases, and training materials.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of SAP APO experience, including at least two full-cycle implementations.
  • In-depth expertise in GATP features such as product allocation, ATP checks, and backorder processing.
  • Hands-on experience in Transportation and Vehicle Planning Scheduling (TVPS), including transportation scheduling and route optimization.
  • Strong knowledge of CIF integration between APO and ECC/S4HANA.
  • Familiarity with ABAP debugging to support custom enhancements.
  • SAP Certified Application Professional - SAP APO GATP or other relevant certifications are preferred.
